Audiobooks: How To Make It Work For You

This all-day training at the Dallas home studio of popular voice talent and coach Bettye Zoller is limited to just six attendees, to ensure personal attention. This seminar will clear up misconceptions about doing
audiobooks, and attendees will hear tales from real life about narrator
experiences, good and bad. Plus: audition tips and tricks, and the best ways to
choose books to narrate that will earn you money by selling! Lunch included.

Hone the skills you need to perform voice overs in video
games during this one-day event with some of the biggest names in the business.
Hosted by Patrick Fraley, who has
voiced dozens of games, including Star
Wars, Final Fantasy, and Dragon Age,
the guest director for the day is sound engineer/director/producer/performer
and video game aficionado Jamie Hunsdale
(at left); guest performer is Scott Burns, an award-winning talent who also has
a hand in casting, directing, and producing. All three will teach 10
participants how to deliver evocative performances for the unique demands of
video games, as well as how to effectively audition for video game characters
and projects. Students will be able to record their best tracks for use in a
demo. Teacher approval required to enroll.
