Winners Announced At NYC Awards Gala ...

Congratulations to winners of the 24th Annual Audie Awards®, announced last night at the Audies Gala in New York City.

Sponsored by the Audio Publishers Association (APA), the coveted Audies recognize outstanding achievement in audiobook narration and all aspects of production.

The Gala had a wonderfully different spin this year. Hosted at Guastavino's, nestled under the 59th Street Bridge, this year's event was not only the shortest in recent memory, but also brilliantly and elegantly produced.

Champagne flowed and delectable desserts were served as the audiobook industry's best and brightest celebrated the occasion with the recognition of some of the finest narrators of our time.

The Gala was star-studded with the industry's favorite narrators and celebrities including endearing host, Queer Eye's Tan France, D.L. Hughley (nominated for "How Not to Get Shot") as well as presenters Patton Oswalt (nominated for "I'll be Gone in the Dark") and Levar Burton (nominated for "The Good Neighbor").

It's clear that moving the event from late May (traditionally the day following the Audio Publishers Association Conference) to early March to coincide with other awards galas was well worth the effort. This was a truly unforgettable evening. The world of audiobooks could not be better celebrated.

And the winners in this year's 24 categories are ...
