 'VOICE OVER BODY SHOP' WEBCAST 'Bish' Dishes It Out Tonight! See Witty Peter Bishop On The 'Voice Over Body Shop' Webcast September 24, 2018  (VOXtra)
- Known by many as 'Bish,' London-born voice actor Peter Bishop brings his wit and outspoken opinions about all things voice-over tonight to the Voice Over Body Shop (VOBS) webcast, starting at 6 pm PT / 9 pm ET on vobs.tv.The voice-over industry also knows Bish as the current president of the World-Voices Organization (WoVO), the international industry association of freelance voice talent. "Peter is known for his sharp wit and no-holds-barred, biting commentary on the state of our industry," notes Dan Lenard (the Home Studio Master), who co-hosts the webcast with George Whittam
(VO audio tech guru). "We'll talk with him about his career, the state of the VO business, and how we can all work together to make it a better place," Dan adds. "Peter is chomping at the bit to take your questions. Be ready for some hardcore opinions!" Now a resident of Long Island in New York, Bishop came to the U.S. in the 1990s in a corporate position for a large multi-national company. Deciding he liked the U.S. but not corporate life, he found his way to the world of VO, and today voices a full range of voice-over genres as "An Englishman in New York" from studios in his home and the New York metro area.
